Semester Grades
Late homework, presentations, or projects
100% - Work turned in on or before the deadline.
80% - Work turned in up to 1 day late (24 hours).
70% - Work turned in more than 1 day late, up to 2 days late.
50% - Work turned in more than 2 days late and up to 5 days late.
0% - Work turned in more than 5 days late.
0% - Work not turned in.
Making Up Low Grades
Tutoring Times
Absences
- Minor Grades are 50% (bell ringers, daily work, homework, and quizzes).
- Major Grades are 50% (presentations, projects, and tests).
Semester Grades
- Each Unit (9 weeks) is 42.5 %
- Mid Term Exam is 15%.
Late homework, presentations, or projects
100% - Work turned in on or before the deadline.
80% - Work turned in up to 1 day late (24 hours).
70% - Work turned in more than 1 day late, up to 2 days late.
50% - Work turned in more than 2 days late and up to 5 days late.
0% - Work turned in more than 5 days late.
0% - Work not turned in.
Making Up Low Grades
- Low grades due to work turned in more than 1 day late may not be made up.
- Minor grades can be made up to 70% and only during tutoring time.
- Tests and presentations can be made up to 70% and only during tutoring time.
- Projects can be made up to 70%.
- In order to make up a project grade, students should first attend tutoring.
- The time frame to make up a project grade will be established on a case by case basis during tutoring.
Tutoring Times
- All my students are welcome during tutoring times.
- Tutoring times are every day from 8:20 - 8:40 am, except for days when I have to attend faculty meetings.
- Other tutoring times may be available upon request. Just ask.
- Notifying in advance your attendance for a tutoring session is preferred, but not required.
Absences
- Checking Google Classroom is advised.
- If it is possible, finish the work online and get in contact with me for more details.
- Being absent 1 day allows you 2 days to get all your make-up work done/turned in.
- Being absent 2 days allows you 3 days, and so on.
